Here are some initial dates to put in your calendar for the first half of the year

Every session is about having fun, super welcoming and a chance to learn from each other.

Let's make 2026 full of windy days, shared sessions and good vibes

  • March - St. Patrick's Weekend Windsurf Trip - Donegal - Davin is organizing
  • End of March / Early April - AGM + Pub meet up - Date & location TBC
  • April - 1 year Anniversary Event - likely Malahide
  • April & Aug - fun intro to racing, everything being explained, supported by boat, open to everyone - organized by Ant
  • Wave clinic by Blast Watersports (Ant) - location and date weather dependant
  • Regular meet ups in Dublin Bay whenever the wind blows and a member posts up a location to meet

2025 Speed Windsurfing Challenge

Launch Event

Dublin Bay Windsurfing Club was launched Sunday, April 27th

Castlegregory 2025 - Aug 29th to 31st

First club trip away a massive success!

  • A third of the club made the trip - it looked like windsurfing is cool again!
  • Conditions offered 15 knots flat water sailing, gusts to 40 knots and even some wave sailing
  • It was a very encouraging group environment with everyone offering tips, helping with equipment and cheering any result
  • And great evenings with pints straight from the beach to good food in Spillanes and even some table tennis / pool
